0 your local jewelry store will pay you the same or better than taking the chance of mailing it off and possibly getting nothing. I went into a local jewelry store to have charms removed from a real gold braclet to a fake one. The old one broke, didn't fit anymore. I was given $50 for the lightweight 10 or 14 ct braclet so the work I had done didn't cost me a dime. Boy was I happy
